This lecture
is in honor of Peter Brodfuehrer's appointment as the Eleanor A. Bliss
Chair in Biology. Brodfuehrer's lecture wil be "The Leech: In Research,
Teaching, and Health."
The Eleanor A. Bliss Chair in Biology was established in 1988.
Bequested by Eleanor A. Bliss, Class of 1921, Professor Emeritus of
Biology, Dean Emeritus of the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences, and a
member of the College's Board of Directors from 1944-1952.
The Chair was previously held by Paul Grobstein.
